Myofascial Release Treatment to Help Sleep
Do you find it hard to sleep at night? Taking too long to nod off? Sometimes we have a build up of stress in our body and in order for it to sleep restfully we need to remove that stress.
The following is a highly effective self-treatment approach worth trying before going to bed.
With all these stretches maintain, gentle sustained pressure for about 5 minutes. While doing the stretch picture the soft tissue stretching out like blu-tac and softening like melting butter.
2) Fingers (pushing on the bone just outside the eyes – push inwards and slightly upwards)
3) Take chin towards chest
4) Finger on right and left masseter muscles
If you wake up during the night, get up, walk around for 5 minutes then sit down and re-do until you feel sleepy again.
Try this for a week and measure your results.
